Ory Seidemann

Try is a Postpartum Doula, Newborn Care Specialist, Lactation Educator Counselor, Infant Sleep Consultant and New Parent Educator.

Her passion for guiding new families was ignited while supporting a family friend during her challenging postpartum period 10 + years ago. She was a single mother with a newborn going through postpartum depression, and the support of her community was much needed.

After being one of her support systems, she felt a deep calling on helping mothers. As a result, she changed careers from Visual Marketing Design to Postpartum Professional.

Early on in her journey, she learned that most postpartum families are struggling with breastfeeding, sleep and adapting to the new family dynamic. In turn, she became certified as a Lactation Educator Counselor, Infant Sleep Consultant, and New Parent Educator (in addition to her training as a Postpartum Doula and Newborn Care Specialist).

Supporting and empowering new parents as they transition into a growing family is her heart’s desire.

In her personal life, when not snuggling babies or supporting parents, sne love to retreat with yoga, hiking, walks on the beach, adventure traveling and organizing community events. She loves spending quality time with her family and friends, creating new experiences, and building memories.
