Meet our Palo Alto team
Ory Seidemann
My passion for guiding new families was ignited while supporting a family friend during her challenging postpartum period 10 + years ago. She was a single mother with a newborn going through postpartum depression, and the support of her community was much needed.
After being one of her support systems, I felt a deep calling on helping mothers. As a result, I changed my career, working as a Designer for visual Marketing, and discovered my new path becoming a Postpartum Professional.
First I trained as a Postpartum Doula and Newborn Care Specialist. Early on in my journey I learned that most postpartum families are struggling with breastfeeding, sleep and adapting to the new family dynamic. Therefore I continued educating myself, becoming certified as a Lactation Educator Counselor, Infant Sleep Consultant, and New Parent Educator.
Supporting and empowering new parents as they transition into a growing family is my heart’s desire. It brings me a lot of fulfillment and joy experiencing the growth, transformation and empowerment of parents while serving them in the sensitive postpartum period.
In my personal life, when I don’t get to snuggle babies or support parents, I love to retreat with yoga, hiking, walks on the beach, adventure traveling and organizing community events.
What makes me happy is to spend quality time with my family and friends, creating new experiences, and building memories.
